Courts and Asian Carp: Not like Peas and Carrots


Asian carp and the Courts don’t seem to go together.

Case in point: Yesterday, a federal judge threw out a case to stop Asian carp in Chicago from entering the Great Lakes.  This recent ruling is in addition to the U.S. Supreme Court rejecting— four times — the ordering of temporary measures such as closing Chicago shipping locks and installing block nets in the waterways.

This is not a surprising result.

In fact, this doesn’t change anything.  We still know the clear solution:

Separation of Lake Michigan from the Mississippi River and Carp do go together like peas and carrots…
